Marysville residents, tackle spring-cleaning with the help of our free clean-up events. We are hosting two events at two different locations this year for you to toss unwanted items. These events are only open to Marysville residents. A city utility bill or driver’s license will be required as proof of residency. Personal vehicles only (flatbed trailers okay); commercial vehicles and box trucks will not be allowed.Free compost available for pick-up will be offered at this event for May 30.
Accepted items for this event at the Marysville Community Center:
-Green yard waste
-Clean Styrofoam and bubble wrap
-Documents for shredding (limit 4 boxes)
-Electronics & E-waste, such as:
computers & laptops
TVs & monitors (LCD, plasma, CRT)
Cellphones, tablets, e-readers
Printers, fax machines, scanners
AV equipment, UPS battery backups
Remote controls
Microwaves, small kitchen appliances
lithium & household batteries
Items NOT ACCEPTED at our spring-cleaning events:
-Freon Units- refrigerators, AC units, water coolers
-Light bulbs including LED and incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and compact bulbs
-Hazardous waste, paint, fuels, oils and household chemicals
-Prescription drugs
-Concrete
For disposal options not permitted, visit https://www.snohomishcountywa.gov/477/Hazardous-Waste or take items to the Snohomish County Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Station in Everett (3434 McDougall Ave.).
