Maryland Opera is delighted to honor Susie & Sam Macfarlane with a concert of arias duets and scenes performed by singers of international acclaim with chamber orchestra. Mrs. Macfarlane was an anti-war activist and an advocate for older adults. Mr. Macfarlane was the CFO of Williams & Wilkins and Waverly Press as well as the Treasurer and a Trustee of the Baltimore Opera Company Board. The program which includes selections from Aïda Tosca West Side Story and more will feature soprano Tasha Hokuao Koontz mezzo-soprano Kate Jackman and tenor Dane Suarez.
