Good Works Community Theater is celebrating its 25th year of bringing “Good Works” to the community. We take pride in embodying our middle name: Community. Join us in experiencing the magic that collaboration and positivity can create. We truly hope you will be a part of this journey to Cherry Tree Lane! ALL are welcome.
The Plot: Set in England in 1910, Bert — a jack-of-all-trades — introduces us to the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many nannies packing before Mary Poppins mysteriously arrives at their doorstep. She must teach the family members how to value each other once again by reminding them what love is, and what community really means.
Experience the spectacle of this chimney-sweeping epic as we traverse the rooftops of London, meeting colorful characters in a fantastical and magical world. Believe in the magic of Mary Poppins and discover a world where anything can happen if you open your heart to it. This beloved classic is a “jolly holiday” for the entire family!
