Mary Beard 'Emperor of Rome' - Cambridge

Join us in the Frankopan Hall at Jesus College at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm) on Tuesday 2nd July for a very special event with Mary Beard, who will be talking about Emperor of Rome, her latest book which is now out in paperback.

Mary Beard will be in conversation with Simon and Louise Savidge.

Emperor of Rome is not your usual chronological account of Roman rulers, one after another, instead Mary Beard offers an account of Roman history as it has never been seen before – one that goes directly to the heart of what it was to be Roman.

Tickets cost £15 for general admission or £20 which includes a copy of the book.

Frankopan Hall is located in West Court, Jesus College, 22 Jesus Ln, Cambridge CB5 8BQ. As Jesus College is a vast venue with multiple buildings, we highly recommend using the West Court entrance.
