Martin Marietta's 3rd Annual Boulder Dash

is proud to host the 5K and 5 Miler on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at the Martin Marietta Charlotte Quarry (4551 Beatties Ford Road Charlotte, NC 28216).

This charity event provides runners with a unique race experience as participants will run through a working rock quarry (not active during the event) while navigating a scenic course that showcases the impressive scale of the operation and its large equipment. The 5K and 5 Miler courses offer breathtaking views as they track along the rim of the quarry’s pit, while the 5 Miler course additionally takes runners to the bottom of the pit, a decline of 403 feet. This event is designed for all levels – from novice to advanced runners.

All proceeds will benefit The Park Community Development Corporation and the McCrorey YMCA.
