Join the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, January 13, 2027, at 11:45 AM for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Awards Luncheon at First United Methodist Church in Warrensburg.
Held in conjunction with the University of Central Missouri's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, this meaningful event brings together community members, local leaders, and organizations to honor the lasting legacy of Dr. King through service, leadership, and community involvement.
A highlight of the luncheon is the presentation of two distinguished awards, jointly presented by the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the UCM Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity:
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. High School Community Service Award
These awards recognize individuals who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to serving others, strengthening our community, and embodying the values of compassion, equality, and service that Dr. King championed.
Nominations are encouraged for both award categories! We invite community members to help us recognize deserving individuals who are making a positive difference through their dedication and service.
We invite Chamber members, community leaders, students, and residents to join us for an inspiring afternoon of recognition, reflection, and connection as we celebrate those who continue to make a lasting impact on the Greater Warrensburg community.
Together, let's honor Dr. King's legacy by recognizing the individuals who put service into action!
