The Pocatello Branch of the NAACP would like to invite you to join us for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The brunch will be held in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Wood River Room.Guest Speaker: Stephen Weeg

Adults: $25
Youth: $15 (14 and under)
Stephen Weeg is former executive director of Health West who retired in 2012 after serving 40 years in the health and human services industry. He has been a board member of both the Portneuf Health Care Foundation and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
At this year's event, the Pocatello NAACP will be raffling off a tote bag of books from the King Center, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Raffle Tickets are $5.
