Martin Barre: The Music of Jethro Tull Tour

Martin Barre, the guitarist behind Jethro Tull’s signature sound for more than four decades, brings one of classic rock’s most distinctive catalogs back to the stage with power and precision. His playing is central to landmark albums including Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, and Songs from the Wood, where his unmistakable tone helped shape a sound that blends progressive rock, folk, and blues into something instantly recognizable. The opening riff of “Aqualung” alone stands as one of rock’s most iconic guitar moments.
This tour features the music of Jethro Tull performed by the guitarist who helped create it. Barre leads a standout band through defining songs including “Aqualung,” “Locomotive Breath,” and “Cross-Eyed Mary,” along with deeper selections that highlight the range of the catalog. Driven by powerful guitar work and detailed musicianship, the performance captures both the complexity and the force of the original recordings while bringing renewed energy to music that continues to resonate.
