Do you want to become more centered and resilient? Discover the dynamic, flowing martial art of aikido. Learn how to relax under pressure and how aikido cultivates core power, aerobic fitness and the path of non-resistance. The circular, blending movements of Aikido emphasize throws and joint locks rather than strikes and kicks. The philosophy and movements cultivate the harmonious resolution of conflict and the cultivation of internal energy, or ki.
This free workshop introduces the movements and philosophy of aikido. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and be prepared to move! This workshop is open to adults and focused teens (youth/family workshop on Saturday at 10am).
