Skipping FIBArk Sunday is for quitters. Wrapping up our FIBArk weekend will be a show headlined by Marshland. This band with locals ties will be hitting our stage for the second time, bringing their Louisiana Americana to Salida. Formerly Nola County, Marshland began as a country music genre experiment out of New Orleans and has since grown into an unbounded, transcendent live musical experience, featuring an eight musician ensemble at full strength. They played an impressive show last summer and we expect more of that out of them this year. They will be joined by opening band, The Desert Nudes, from New Orleans, which features a genre of music we don’t think we’ve hosted on our stage, Cosmic Cowboy Harmonies. We’re excited to hear what that is all about, so come out and join us one last night before returning to the real world.
