Marshall County Chamber Ohio Valley Manufacturing Conference

The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce will host the Ohio Valley Manufacturing Conference on July 23 at Special Events Hall at Grand Vue in Moundsville. Cost is $30 to attend. The conference will begin at noon, and lunch will be provided. This regional event will bring together partners including the West Virginia Division of Economic Development, RED, the Marshall County Commission, and the West Virginia Manufacturers Association.
Speakers will include leaders from Northern Panhandle manufacturers who will discuss the key challenges and emerging opportunities they see in today’s manufacturing sector. They will also share how they are using available resources, including internships and apprenticeship programs, to build a stronger local talent pipeline and support long term workforce needs.
The conference will also feature perspectives from statewide economic development leaders and educational partners, including the West Virginia Economic Development Authority, the West Virginia Manufacturers Association, Marshall University’s Advanced Manufacturing Center and West Virginia Northern Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing and Automation program, along with workforce development initiatives and local schools that support West Virginia’s manufacturing talent pipeline. Manufacturer’s representatives from East Coast Metal Systems, Core, Mull Machinery, American Muscle Docks and more will be speaking at this event.
