About the facilitator:

With a career spanning over a decade Ameya has written for various shows such as the Emmy nominated Inside Edge and award winning Undekhi (S2). He has led a number of writers-rooms for various genre and formats of cinematic content and is passionate about encouraging and fostering talent.

Dates: 28 June to 23 August 2026

Schedule: Sunddays 10 AM to 4 PM &

Thursdays 7:30 to 9:30 PM

+ Weekday Film Screening & discussion

Eligibility: Keen interest in writing commitment to complete the program.

Age: 18+ years. No prior experience required.

Program goal: To empower writers to develop writing skills for Film T.V. Web Series

I don’t have experience. Can I join? 

Yes. But you have to commit to completing the 6 weeks program with weekdays and weekends combined

I am not available on the first date. Is it okay? 

No it’s important to attend the first session as it’s the starting point of the journey. Please accommodate your time. Nevertheless speak to the coordinators from applause vadodara to discuss your scope. 

Who will conduct all the sessions? 

Ameya Sarda will be conducting the session. 

Who has designed the curriculum? 

The rigorous 100 hour curriculum has been designed by Ameya himself based on his career spanning 15+ years in bollywood as a writer and as a head of many crucial writers rooms that have created memorable shows and films. 

What is a writers room? 

A writers room is the creative group of writers who develop stories for screenplay and go ahead to write the same for films television OTT.

I have an idea can I work on it in the program? 

Yes! Certainly you can. And you should. It’s definitely an advantage to come to the program with an idea in mind. Infact we urge participants to think about what they would like to write / develop

Will Ameya give me feedback? 

Yes you may receive direct feedback from Ameya during the program. 

What after the program? Is there any opportunity? 

We are creating a writers community and we will develop opportunities for all writers to participate. In addition you will be a part of the premium club of writers who will be the first to be offered any opportunity or commercial leverage. 

Will I complete my first draft in the program?

You will definitely start-off on your first draft (with a minimum of the concept note or 5 pages). Beyond that it is each writer's journey and rhythm. Nevertheless, the team will be available to support your writing journey with feedback, even beyond the program.

I can not pay the whole fees at once. Is there any option to pay in installments?

What is the age limit the enroll?
