May 17 - Aggie Park
Get ready to show your Aggie spirit at the Maroon and White Fun Run! Whether you’re racing, walking, volunteering or cheering from the sidelines, this event brings the Aggie family together for a morning of fitness, fun and community.
Enjoy a lively expo, great company and a chance to support the Staff Emergency Fund, which helps Texas A&M staff members facing unexpected hardships.
Registration:
$30 – 5K participants
$20 – 1-mile run for children 12 and under
Event-day schedule (subject to change):
7 a.m. – Expo opens / participant check-in
7:45 a.m. – Kids 1-miler (ages 10 and under)
8:15 a.m. – 5K runners
8:20 a.m. – 5K walkers
9:30 a.m. – Raffle drawing (must be present to win)
11 a.m. – Expo closes; teardown begins
Participants who registered by April 10 are guaranteed a medal. Any remaining medals will be distributed in the order registrations are received, while supplies last. All participants will receive a fun run shirt.
Packet Pickup:
Packet pickup will take place in the General Services Complex lobby on the following dates and times:
* Thursday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
* Friday, May 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Because the building closes at 5 p.m., the east main entrance (closest to the railroad tracks) will remain open for packet pickup until 6 p.m. Participants may find it most convenient to park in the lot behind the building and enter through the east main door. Free 30-minute parking is available in marked spaces, and most Texas A&M parking permits are valid in Lot 88.
Event Parking:
Complimentary parking will be available for registered participants and volunteers, for the duration of the event only, in Lots 48, 60 and 62, as well as the Hagler Center lot.
The University Center Garage and Gene Stallings Blvd Garage will be available for hourly paid parking.
