Join us for the 8th Annual Marlie's Stuffies for Emergencies Drive Drop off Event at The Neighbor in Fort Collins on Thursday, November 13th from 5:00-8:00pm.Please bring a new stuffed animal to be donated to UC Health Hospitals to help children and people in our community.
Marlie's Stuffies for Emergencies started in 2018 when Marlie was just 8 years old after her father, Cody Walker, passed away in a motorcycle accident. At the hospital Marlie received a stuffed animal and it helped her cope with the loss of her father. From there, Marlie's Stuffies started to help other kids that could use a stuffed animal to help with whatever they may also go through. Throughout the years Marlie's Stuffies has raised 1,000's of stuffed animals for kids in our community.
If you are unable to attend, you may also donate throughout the entire month of November by using our Amazon Wishlist (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3UDD8ZD3MX1FK?ref_=wl_share), or there is a Fort Collins drop off bin at the Poudre Fire Authority Admin Office (102 Remington Ave) during work hours (8 - 5pm M-Th) anytime in November. Stuffies will be donated to UCHealth after November 30th.
Thank you all that have donated and we can't wait to spread the love for so many kids again this year! We saw the immediate impact that this drive has done for our community and know that each and every one of the stuffed animals donated goes to someone who can use the comfort. We appreciate you all for your support and donations!
