About this Event
We invite our agricultural community to join the Marketing Strategies for Agricultural Businesses class, offered by the Charles County Economic Development Department and designed to support farmers, watermen, local food and farmers markets, and agricultural professionals with practical, do-it-yourself marketing skills. Participants will learn how to tell their story, create a unique brand, establish and strengthen their online presence, and develop pricing and sales strategies that support long-term sustainability.
The class will include core course material, with opportunities for participants to schedule one-on-one work hours for individual support, brainstorming, and real-time problem solving. The goal is to help local producers increase visibility, connect with customers, and grow our local food economy.
Instruction will be provided by Molly Meehan, Agriculture and Rural Development Manager with the Charles County Economic Development Department. The event is free of charge and open to Charles County agricultural businesses. Light refreshments will be provided.
