SPC is a national consulting firm consisting of advocate and survivor/lived experience experts providing training and technical assistance at the intersections of gender-based violence, trafficking, and systemic oppression. Attendees: You do not have to self-identify as a survivor of gender-based violence (i.e. intimate partner violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, exploitation, etc.) in order to attend. Our target audience is survivors, but we also encourage service providers to join and share resources with the communities you serve.
Confidentiality: This webinar will not be recorded so as to create a trauma-informed virtual environment.
Disability Justice: We recognize that not everyone can attend the webinar live due to scheduling issues and/or barriers to attending a webinar that is not recorded. We will provide a one-pager concluding the event that will be sent out to all attendees who register. If reading written materials is not accessible, we suggest text-to-speech apps such as Voice to Dream Reader or Speechify, which can read the text of documents out loud.
Language Justice: Please email us at [email protected] by October 1, 2024 to request language accomodations. In the event we do not have the capacity to fulfill your request for this upcoming webinar, we will do our best to accommodate the request in future offerings and/or to translate the one-pager into the requested language.
Q & A: There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the session.
