Spruce Run the Jewels is an old-time string band fronted by fiddler Steve Kruger of the Little Stony Nighthawks, featuring a rotating lineup of musicians and tunes from Southwest Virginia and North Carolina playing high-tempo local dance tunes and songs. Members have included Rory Mullenex, Trevor McKenzie, Doug Sharkey, Liam Kelley, and Aaron Ratcliffe.
