Reed Tradition carries forward the mountain music traditions of Southwest Virginia’s New River Valley. Drawing deeply from the repertoire of fiddler Henry Reed and family, the group honors old-time roots with driving rhythms, nuanced melodies, and a living connection to heritage, keeping these timeless tunes vibrant for new generations, today and for future.
Led by Chris Via on fiddle, Bill Blevins on fiddle, Matt Peyton on guitar, Tim Thornton on bass, Russ Boyd on banjo, and Addison Dobbs on mandolin.
