The Winterville Chamber is proud to continue the Market on the Square tradition in 2026.Join us for a seasonal series filled with local shopping, community connection, family activities, and themed events right in the heart of Winterville.
Market on the Square will take place on the second Friday of each month, June through September, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at 252 Main Street in Winterville.
2026 Market Dates:
June 12 – Juneteenth Celebration
July 10 – Touch-a-Truck
August 14 – National Night Out / Back to School Splash
September 11 – Community Heroes Day
The following specialty events are extensions of the Market on the Square series, but feature different themes, dates, times, and locations. Vendors may apply using the same application.
October 3 – Glow Mini Golf
October 25 – Fright Fest
December 12 – Winter Wonderland Market
Market on the Square is designed to showcase local businesses, artisans, food vendors, and community organizations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors alike. Guests can expect entertainment, activities, shopping, and opportunities to connect with others in the community.
This series is made possible through our valued partnership with the Town of Winterville, along with support from Curtis Media Group and the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses interested in supporting the series.
