Market House Theatre Costume Sale

Sixty years of costumes, and we're out of room.
For two days, Market House Theatre is opening its costume vault to the public. Everything inside has been collected, sewn, or donated across generations of productions — vintage pieces from the 1930s forward, gowns, uniforms, hats by the hundred, and a great deal that defies category.
Everything is priced to sell.
What You'll Find
Vintage & Period
Vintage clothing from the 1930s through the 1990s, historical period costumes, and military and Red Cross uniforms.
Formalwear
Evening gowns, wedding gowns, men's suits and sport coats.
Everyday & Outerwear
Contemporary clothing, coats and jackets, pajamas, aprons.
Accessories
Hats — and then more hats. Jewelry, gloves (winter and fashion), belts, handbags, shoes.
Costumes
Commercial Halloween costumes and dance costumes.
And a good deal else. Odd pieces, one-offs, and the things that only make sense once you see them. Adults and children, throughout.
Who This Is For
Get a jumpstart on Halloween before the picked-over racks and the shipping deadlines. Pick up unusual stock for your boutique or booth. Add something quirky to an already-eclectic wardrobe. Outfit a school play, a church program, or a community production on a budget. Or just come look!
Why We're Doing This
The collection has been built piece by piece across generations of productions. Some pieces were sewn in our own shop. Some were donated by families cleaning out an attic. Some were bought for a single scene and kept ever since.
Making room for what comes next means letting some of it go. We'd rather see these pieces worn again than boxed up indefinitely.
Proceeds support productions and programming at Market House Theatre.
Before You Come
Where: Studio 200 Events Space (200 Kentucky Avenue, Paducah)
