Skateboarding Photography Display Opening Party at Night Owl Pizza & Drinks Tempe.
Celebrate during the afternoon with life-long Tempe resident and photographer Mark T Eshelman as he kicks off a display of vintage black and white photography of hyperlocal Tempe skateboarding memories!
Photos are part of the eclectic art collection in the newly opened neighborhood spot featuring shots of a skateboarding contest in the local area on October 6, 1985.
Display also features a photo by Gavin Hugh Troy, skateboarder and artist who hails from this same Tempe neighborhood, now living, skating and creating art in Tucson.
Musical entertainment brought to you by neighborhood Tempe record collector extraordinaire, DJ Luv, spinning all vinyl: punk, alt, new wave, ska, reggae and surf tunes.
