BIOS
MARK SANDERS (Resident Artist) grew up in Marion, IL, spent 15 years in NYC, and now makes Ft. Myers his home. He was seen as Perchik on the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof starring Theodore Bikel and has become a favorite soloist with the Gulf Coast Symphony in Fort Myers, as well as the Naples and Bonita Springs Concert Bands. Regional credits include Mamma Mia, Bridges of Madison County, Ragtime, Murder Ballad (Carbonell Award), Next to Normal, The Secret Garden, Music Man starring Jeff Goldblum, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Blood Brothers starring Andrea McArdle. Mark can also be seen on tour with his solo show, ONE VOICE: The Music of Barry Manilow, which he wrote and conceived.
PHIL HINTON (Piano/Arranger) is a British-born pianist, arranger, orchestrator, and conductor. He has worked in those capacities for the BBC and many independent broadcasting production companies. He has arranged and orchestrated the music, played piano, and conducted on over 200 major hit albums for artists such as Shirley Bassey, Anthony Newley, Howard Keel, Vince Hill, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Paul McCartney, to name just a few.
CHUCK BERGERON (Bass) has been an in-demand bassist for four decades, performing, recording, and touring with a host of jazz luminaries. He studied at Loyola University and the University of Miami before joining the bands of Woody Herman and Buddy Rich. He has garnered three ASCAP awards for his writing and critical acclaim from major jazz trade publications.
HOWIE GORDON (Drums) has performed as the featured drummer for numerous legends including Eartha Kitt, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Jerry Lewis, Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, Anthony Newley, and Lionel Hampton. He has appeared with major symphony orchestras worldwide, as well as the New York Emmy Awards, Jerry Lewis Telethon, Kennedy Center Honors, 1994 London Royal Command Performance, and featured presentations at the White House.
