Though Mark has travelled extensively, it is the nearby forests and coast that excite his imagination. Living in Ringwood at the very edge of the Newforest, he is constantly inspired and fascinated by the woodlands, heaths, meadows and the ever changing moods of the nearby sea.The play of light and shadow on sea and land that create strange and sometimes quiet amorphic shapes are an endless rich source of ideas through which he can express his own love of the medium of acrylic itself. Mark has exhibited widely in the South of England.
