We are extremely excited to announce that Mark Korducki will lead us on a bird hike at Virmond Park, where mid-April often brings migrating Horned and Red-necked Grebes, ducks and good songbirds. Possible add-on to Doctors Park or Lions Den Gorge depending on bird activity and weather. Mark has been a birder nearly all his life. He’s the species leader (339!) in Milwaukee County and the Milwaukee eBird reviewer. He leads birding tours in Milwaukee and Door County as well as around the U.S. through his company Ducki Unlimited Birding Tours.
Meet at Virmond Park at 10 in the long rectangular parking lot towards the lake. Wear appropriate clothing. It may be windy! Check back here if weather looks iffy.
