On November 6th, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and endurance athlete Mark Jones will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest distance rucked in 24 hours while carrying a 40-lb pack. The current record stands at 79.12 miles.
Mark’s goal? ONE HUNDRED MILES.
No breaks. No sleep. Just pure grit and determination.
Mark is traveling all the way from Arkansas to take on this unthinkable challenge — not for fame, but for purpose. He’s rucking to raise awareness and funds for the Oscar Mike Foundation’s "Carry the Weight" campaign, which launched in May 2025 with one bold goal: to rally 20,000 monthly teammates who will help fund a world-class adaptive sports campus for injured and disabled veterans right here in northern Illinois.
Come be part of history.
Bring your family and friends, your flags, your coffee, and your ENERGY — and help keep Mark moving through every step of this 24-hour mission. Whether you join at the start, at midnight, or the finish line, your presence will fuel something much bigger than a record.
***The attempt will be live streamed on the Oscar Mike YT channel - make sure to subscribe ahead of time! https://www.youtube.com/@WeAreOscarMike
