The 5K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8:00 am. $25: Celebrate the Fourth of July and the American farmer with fitness and fun. This event is in memory of Mark Hohn, who lost his life in a farming accident. The proceeds will go to the Mark Hohn Hoof Hauler Scholarship fund at Mitchell Technical College, where a $ 1,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a student pursuing a degree in agriculture. This family-friendly event will begin at 8:00 am at The Resurrection Lutheran Church (waiting to solidify the location)and take participants through the north side of Mitchell Lake. Show your patriotism and your love for the good ol' USA farmer! REGISTER BY JUNE 21TH TO GET A T-SHIRT WITH YOUR REGISTRATION. Online registration will close on July 3rd. Participants can sign up on the morning of the event.
