what a lovely day of not having to scramble to grab practice. Actual dedicated open time not hemmed in by the myriad of responsibilities I (am actually honored to) have. that said this opening courante was a rush job trying to catch my shadow while it lasted as my student was setting up.
what can I say? sharing the long and boring process. but what fun these passages are, what a joy to be able to play this music, how cool is it to prepare this and then get to play with a dear friend and we have three concerts lined up. I love this music.
