About this Event
Here's what's currently on view at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art!
This exhibition unites over 30 monumental sculptures and paintings by two renowned artists who have explored humanity’s strained relationship with the environment for over 30 years.

Spencer Tinkham: Witness | February 9–June 9, 2024

Tinkham creates sculptures of birds that are inspired by his love of nature and art. He has traveled across the country to research specimens found in natural history museums, piecing together the stories of these tiny witnesses to the big things happening on our planet.
ARTlab | February 9–June 9, 2024
ARTlab is our interactive space for all ages located off of our main galleries. Explore the main themes and ideas found in our current exhibitions through making, sharing, and personal connections! Kids and adults alike will enjoy a reading nook, multimedia activities, touch-stations, and more.
Free admission for Virginia residents is generously funded by Sentara and The Sokol Family Foundation. Tickets are required for check-in purposes and allow for entry any time during open hours. All sales for out-of-state (non-Virginia residents) ticket purchases are final.
