Marjan Farsad is an Iranian-born multidisciplinary artist, celebrated for her work as an animator, illustrator, singer, and songwriter. Born in Tehran in 1983, she began her career as an entertainer and gradually shifted into songwriting and visual arts. Farsad moved to Montreal in 2009, where she studied animation and produced her debut album, “Blue Flowers,” after her song “Porteghal” gained online popularity.
