Maritime Collaboration & Fermentation Seminar at O'Creek

The Fermentis team is pleased to invite you to Collaboration & Fermentation Seminar at O'Creek, sponsored by RahrBSG, held at O’Creek Brewing in Moncton, NB. Throughout the day, you will interact with the Fermentis Team, who will present on a broad variety of yeast and fermentation topics. Our aim: To help you as a brewer create the beers you imagine through a better understanding of yeasts and the fermentation process.

The program of lectures includes the following topics:

- A collaboration beer: We’ll brew beer with freshly fished lobster shells. Throughout the day, when we’ll have downtime in the brewery, we’ll have some great presentations about fermentation. The continental breakfast is included!

- A great lunch: Since we’ll have fresh lobster, O’Creek chef will prepare lobster rolls for the lunch!

- Yeast management in breweries and FAQ: Yeast management strategies. Pitching rates, direct pitching vs rehydration. Frequently asked questions from brewers.

- Focus on Lager fermentation: Case study about SafLager W-34/70 highlighting some of its key features (temperature, pitching rate, wort gravity and results during fermentation: kinetics, production of volatile compounds and yeast sensory expression). Presentation of trends products and innovations in dry yeast.

Following the class, you are invited to stick around and join us from 5pm to 7pm for some social time and raise a pint or two (complimentary). This is a great way to finish the day after the seminar!

We ask to each participant an amount of $10+ Eventbrite fees. This price includes participation for all the activities during the day: collaboration, seminar, continental breakfast, lunch, and participation of our social event (including 2 complimentary beers).
