Marine Bioblitz: Citizen Science: Adult Program, Free Event!
About this Event
Join us at Robert Moses State Park for a bioblitz! A bioblitz is a community science effort to record as many species as possible. We will be submitting the marine species we catch and identify in our seine nets into iNaturalist. This volunteer event is for teens and adults (Ages 16+). All equipment will be provided! Please dress to get wet, bring water shoes or waders (if you have), water, and anything else to spend a morning on the beach.
Please meet in Field 2. We will be walking on sand for a portion of this program.
Download iNaturalist beforehand and join the project here:
Adults and Teens (Ages 16+) program! Parent/Guardian needed if under the age of 18.

If you can no longer keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early so we may start the program on time!
