The exhibition explores the lasting legacy of the Californio ranchos in Marin County, tracing the history of the Spanish and Mexican settlers who established ranchos across the region in the early nineteenth century.
Through artifacts, family stories, and interactive displays, the exhibit connects life on the ranchos to the farms, landscapes, and place names that continue to shape Marin today.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful day of community, celebrating and sharing the Marin history that connects us all!
