The Grayston Unity presents Marie Franc + SupportMarie Franc, a Manchester-based 5-piece band, blends sultry pop vocals with intricate, genre-crossing instrumentation, drawing on folk, jazz, rock, and country. Their music, rich in themes of love, nature, and desire, features a raw, emotive vocal style reminiscent of Sinead O’Connor and Dolores O’Riordan. Praised for their storytelling and texture, their debut EP Birthday has been described as “intricate, gentle, and ominous” by Alabaster De Plume, while Crackd Magazine highlighted their commanding stage presence. Marie Franc crafts a haunting, evocative sound that lingers long after the music fades.

Groves is a four-piece band from Leeds inspired by the catchiness of emotive pop melodies and the scrappiness of rock music. We’re four friends who met at university over 10 years ago and only now have the stars aligned for us to make music together!
Our influences range from the dreamy vibes of The Cranberries, to emotive guitars of American Football, to the synthy feel of The Midnight.
