The Yorkville Parks & Recreation Department is excited to kick off the Summer on Thursday, May 23 with Margaritas en Mayo! This family-friendly fiesta will incorporate traditional Mexican music and performances as downtown Yorkville transforms into Yorkville's very own Margaritaville!
Join us for an evening of Mariachi bands, dancing, family activities and more as we celebrate the arrival of Summer! We are thrilled to announce that the Yorkville Bilingual Parents Advisory Council (BPAC) is once again hosting their annual Parents Day Picnic in conjunction with Margaritas en Mayo from 5:00-7:30pm at Riverfront Park!

Family Activities (5-7:30pm): Riverfront Park
Ballet Folklorico (6-7pm): Riverfront Park Pavilion
Mariachi Ameca (6-8pm): Southbank Original BBQ Stage
Sin Anestesia (7-9pm): Back Alley Stage (Behind Law Office)

Margaritas en Mayo is free to attend, no tickets are required for entry. No third party is authorized so sell tickets, and/or vendor or exhibitor space for Yorkville River Fest. All inquiries should be directed to [email protected].
Yorkville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to change event details including, but not limited to, activities, dates, times, and performances at any time, and without notice.
Margaritas en Mayo is a CASH ONLY event. Patrons should be prepared to use cash for all purchases.
We ID all ages for alcohol purchase. Any patron planning to consume alcohol at Margaritas en Mayo must be age 21+, and be able to provide a valid ID.
