Let’s bring the spirit of Mardi Gras and New Orleans cuisine to Ames Sunday March 2nd! If you have your very own or found a recipe for Gumbo, Jambalaya or Etouffeeor now’s the time to show it off. Sampling will begin at 4pm and our Champion of Burnett Avenue crowned at 6pm. Winner as voted on by the public wins a $25 Gift Card and 4-pack of pounders. All that bring a dish to share receive $1 off their beverages. The King Cake, beads, bowls and spoons will be provided. General public welcome to sample and vote. See you down on the bayou!
