Marden Village Horse and Dog Show 2026

Join us for a fantastic day out in the countryside at the Marden Village Horse and Dog Show, in aid of All Saints Church, Marden.
By kind permission of Nick Taylor and family.
This much-loved local show brings together the best of our local equestrian and canine talent for a celebration of friendly competitive fun.
Horse classes include best turned out, first ridden, lead rein, relay, junior to novice jumping, clear round jumping and dressage. The day rounds off with a fun gymkhana from 1:00pm.
Dog classes include best puppy, golden oldie, waggiest tail and fancy dress.
A BBQ, homemade cakes and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Photographs will be taken on the day by Nicki Douglas-Lee Photography and will be available via the photographer's website.

Class 1: Best Turned-Out – In Hand
Class 2: Best Turned-Out Horse/Pony Ridden
Class 3: Veteran Horse/Pony (16 years & over) – Ridden
Class 4: Lead Rein – Rider 9 years & under, snaffle bridle, lead rein attached to noseband
Class 5: First Ridden – Rider 12 years & under, snaffle bridle
Championship: 1st & 2nd places from above classes to follow

Start 9:30am · Entry on the day · £8 per class · Rosettes to 6th place
Class 6: Lead Rein Jumping 20cm
Class 7: Relay – Lead or Assisted 30cm (£10 per pair)
Class 8: Minimus Jumping (can be assisted) 40cm
Class 9: Junior Jumping 50cm
