Welcome back to the March 2026 chapter of the Sydney Poetry Lounge, featuring poetry from Darrell Edwards and our incredible open mic! Join us upstairs at The Glebe Hotel for a night filled with powerful spoken word performances and heartfelt poetry.$10 entry, $5 concession, tickets available on the door or via Humanitix.

Darrell Edwards
Darrell is a western Sydney poet. He is known as 'The genie'. Not because he can grant wishes, but because he found his way out of a bottle. When he did, he began to write.
His output is prolific and he is currently in talks with a publisher. He has two books of twenty five poems each awaiting approval and publishing. He has featured in various venues in Sydney including Petersham Poetry.
Last September he was the guest at a prominent poetry night in Portland, Oregan, in the USA.
He likes to make the reader think whether that be in his serious work, or in his humorous efforts. sit back now, and hopefully enjoy.
