Join Shanna Baker, owner of Violet Rose Cottage, for a beginner's class on making sourdough bread! Learn the ins and outs of making sourdough, including feeding your own sourdough starter, mixing your own half loaf, and techniques like stretch and fold, bulk fermentation, and scoring. Take home a live bubbly active sourdough starter in a jar, a sourdough starter tool kit, a folder packed with information, and sourdough snacks to munch on during break. Ongoing support is also provided after class from your instructor. The class will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 3:00-5:30 PM at the Southgate Eagles Club Port District 2148. The cost is $70, with a $10 discount for Southgate Eagles members. Payment can be made via Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, or cash.
