Shawn Francis is life-long Republican, Village of Alamance Alderman and a CISSP-certified cybersecurity expert with over 34 years of Information Technology, experience having developed secure systems for Kaiser Permanente, MetLife, many other medical insurers, and the Cyber Infrastructure Security Agency.
An early Bitcoin pioneer who began acquiring and advocating for Bitcoin in 2011, he is a computer programmer with deep knowledge of the encryption algorithms that secure the network and explains its mechanics in clear, everyday terms.
As a John Birch Society chapter leader, he is passionate about teaching how sound money like Bitcoin is essential to preserving constitutional freedoms and our Founders vision for how sound money serves as the basis of liberty.
