About this Event
Join us to get your lungs and legs in shape for summit season and summer trail races!
Includes work on fitness for getting up hill, power hiking, and proper form + technique for steep downhill grades to build confidence and strength.
These sessions are led by professionally certified and experienced Life's 2 Short running coaches and hiking guides. Women who participate in our programs are at all levels from training for their first 5k, ultramarathons and big adventures like hiking mount Kilimanjaro!
Sessions will be modified for all levels and there will be volunteer L2S helpers, "trailblazers" to make sure everyone feels welcomed.
After you register we will send you the schedule of the locations (subject to change based on trail conditions, closures, etc). Most locations will be between Golden and Littleton along the I-70/c-470 corridor.
Sessions take place Wednesday or Thursday evenings and either Saturday or Sunday mornings through March.
Session dates:
Sunday, March 2nd- Stair workout at Red Rocks amphitheatre
Thursday March 6th- Incline run/hike
Saturday, March 9th- Rolling hills run (out and back for time to accommodate all paces/levels)
Wednesday March 12th- Hill workout
Saturday March 15th- Hike Mount Morrison
Thursday March 20th- First day of Spring Hill workout!
Sunday, March 23rd- Rolling hills run (out and back for time to accommodate all paces/levels)
Wednesday March 26th- Incline run/hike
Sunday March 30th- Stair workout at Red Rocks amphitheatre
*there might be 1-2 more bonus sessions added in, stay tuned!
How?
Just $65 to attend unlimited sessions over the month. This breaks down to $7 for each professionally coached session!
This is priced so that even if you cannot make it to all of the sessions you are getting a great deal, drop-in for our workouts is normally $20-25.
