March Hares UK 2026 -- Longsword Competition & Workshops

March Hares UK 2026 is a two-day event in Exeter, Devon, hosted by Exeter Sparring Group.

Saturday 28th March comprises a Sigi Light longsword tournament, for which all swords are provided. There are 24 spaces for the open (divided into A and B tiers) and 12 for women's+.

Sunday 29th March comprises a full day of workshops delivered by three of the most accomplished longsword fencers in UK HEMA, each representing a popular tradition. Instructors will be announced in consecutive weeks leading up to general sale going live on 1st February.

The event is graciously sponsored by SIGI Forge, and all ticketholders to the Light longsword tournament will be entered into a raffle to win a Premium Light Feder. Names will be drawn from a stylish hat at the end of the day on Saturday.
