March For Mumia Launch Rally @ Uncle Bobbie's

MARCH FOR MUMIA '25! The Road to Freedom Runs Through Philly.

On December 9th, 1981, former Black Panther Party member Mumia Abu-Jamal, an award winning journalist, writer and sharp critic of the American police state was shot, framed, and later unjustly convicted for the M**der of Officer Daniel Faulkner. After over 40 years of imprisonment and several medical scares, now more than ever, we MUST develop an ironclad international movement that rallies for Mumia’s message and innocence nonstop until he comes home.

On November 28th, 2025, we will embark on the first leg of a 12-day march to SCI Mahanoy, where Mumia is currently being held, culminating on December 9th-the anniversary of his arrest. Come march with us as we honor our leaders, rally towards Mumia's ideals and embark on a new journey to reignite a flame across the globe to free Mumia once and for all!

Starting Point: Uncle Bobbie's Coffee and Books — 5445 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia PA 19144

Ending Point: Whitemarsh Township Miles Park & Recreation Building (white building right next to ambulance base) — 4021 Joshua Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19144

9:20 AM — Opening Libations:
Meditations honoring the ancestors and grounding the day in love and liberation.
9:30 AM — Press Conference and Kick Off Rally Featuring:
