We welcome the fabulous Bob Isaacs from New Jersey calling to Wild Wombats of the Chesapeake from Maryland, just in time for St Paddy's Day! We'll be dancing from 8:00 - 10:30 with a break midway for a waltz and another waltz at the end. Bob will teach each dance and then prompt the figures as we do them. He'll also teach a dance intro at 7:30. Then those wild and fuzzy wombats, who are Carl Friedman - fiddle, Robin Wilson - flute and sax, and Janina O'Brien - keyboard will play for us. Contra dancing is easy and requires no special skills to be enjoyed by one and all, well except walking.
Adults: $12 ($10 for members)
Students: $5
Ages 13-19: $5
Ages 12 and under: Free!
Members of HACDA save 2 dollars on admission at each dance. Membership costs only $20 per year.
