March 2026 Vermont Greenway & Eco-Patch Native Planting & Workday

The Potrero Gateway is officially open, but work continues to maintain and improve it!

On Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in addition to our regular weeding, water and harvesting of seeds activites, we will also be planting California native plants in the 17th St. Greenway and Potrero Gateway!!7. Rain dates are the Sunday following, at the same time and place.

Join volunteers from the Green Benefit District, Northwest Potrero, the California Native Plant Society—Yerba Buena chapter and other supporters of the Vermont Greenway & Eco-Patch by nurturing the community through urban greening at our 3rd Saturday workdays.

Volunteers should bring sturdy shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water, and gloves, especially for children. We will provide tools and instructions. Register today to secure your spot.
