Marble Matters. Jaime Hayon & Marsotto

During the Milano Art Week and Milano Design Week, Marsotto presents ‘Marble Matters’, a project centred on marble, born from a collaboration with artist-designer Jaime Hayon. A limited edition series of objects and furnishings explores, on different scales, the expressive potential of the material applied to the Spanish designer’s distinctive approach to esthetics. A majestic statue and masks with zoomorphic features, tables and coffee tables, lamps and candle holders, sculptures, furnishings and accessories together: a sinuous and dynamic universe of marble and marbles, staged through typologies that have become codes in Hayon’s artistic journey. Marsotto, thanks to its expertise in stoneworking, interprets the author’s signature design with great care and mastery in a collection of pieces with a strong personality.
