Join the Marathon community for a one-of-a-kind patriotic celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence which happened on August 2, 1776! Set across the scenic grounds of Marathon Community Park, this family-friendly event blends history, adventure, and classic summer fun.

The festivities kick off at 6:00pm with games and music. Starting promptly at 6:30pm is the interactive treasure hunt, inviting participants of all ages to explore the park in search of hidden clues and historical surprises. Whether you’re solving riddles or racing to the next checkpoint, it’s a lively way to connect with the spirit of independence. After the hunt, settle in at the amphitheater for a special outdoor screening of National Treasure—the perfect cinematic companion to a day of discovery and intrigue.

Throughout the evening, enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and drinks, plus plenty of entertainment for everyone. Kids can play in the game zone, while a live DJ keeps the energy high with music and dancing under the summer sky. Following the treasure hunt, we'll gather back at the amphitheater where we'll be showing the movie "National Treasure" to round out the day.

Bring your friends, your family, and your patriotic spirit—this is Marathon’s way of celebrating America’s past while making new memories together.

Anfiteatro del Marathon Community Park
Únase a la comunidad de Marathon para una celebración patriótica única en su clase, conmemorando el 250.º aniversario de la firma de la Declaración de Independencia, ¡acontecida el 2 de agosto de 1776! Ambientado en los pintorescos terrenos del Marathon Community Park, este evento familiar combina historia, aventura y la clásica diversión veraniega.
Las festividades darán comienzo a las 6:00 p. m. con juegos y música. Puntualmente a las 6:30 p. m. dará inicio la búsqueda del tesoro interactiva, invitando a participantes de todas las edades a explorar el parque en busca de pistas ocultas y sorpresas históricas. Ya sea resolviendo acertijos o compitiendo para llegar al siguiente punto de control, es una forma animada de conectar con el espíritu de la independencia. Tras la búsqueda, acomódese en el anfiteatro para disfrutar de una proyección especial al aire libre de *National Treasure* (La búsqueda), el complemento cinematográfico perfecto para un día de descubrimientos e intriga.
Durante toda la velada, disfrute de hot dogs, papas fritas y bebidas gratuitos, además de abundante entretenimiento para todos. Los niños podrán jugar en la zona de juegos, mientras que un DJ en vivo mantendrá la energía al máximo con música y baile bajo el cielo de verano. Una vez finalizada la búsqueda del tesoro, nos reuniremos nuevamente en el anfiteatro, donde proyectaremos la película *National Treasure* para cerrar el día.
