About this Event

RSVP by August 19

We're excited to have you join us for our next Marathon Sports Trail Run Field Trip!

This time, we're headed to Mount Agamenticus in York, ME on Maine's Seacoast—home to some of the area's best trail running. With winding singletrack, rolling climbs, and miles of forested trails, Mount Agamenticus offers a fun and approachable trail experience for runners of all levels.

Whether you're new to trail running or simply looking to trade pavement for dirt, join us on August 22 for a guided day on the trails. We'll take care of the logistics so you can focus on the adventure. Transportation, experienced trail guides, product demos, lunch, and great company are all included.

Getting There

Choose the option that works best for you:

Option 1: Coach Bus from Boston

Meet at: Marathon Sports Boston
671 Boylston Street, Boston, MA

  • 7:15 AM – Check-in
  • 7:30 AM – Bus departs (please arrive on time)

The coach bus includes restrooms and charging outlets. We'll provide water, snacks, and lunch throughout the day.

The return bus departs the trailhead at approximately 3:00 PM, arriving back in Boston around 5:15 PM.

Option 2: Meet at the Trailhead

Meet us at Mount Agamenticus in York, ME by 9:30 AM. The exact meeting location and parking details will be emailed to registered participants.

The Run

This is a guided trail running experience—not a race. We'll keep a conversational pace, stop at scenic viewpoints, and create an environment where everyone feels welcome. Expect rolling hills, technical sections, and some hiking on the steeper climbs.

Our goal is simple:

  • Meet new people
  • Explore new trails
  • Learn from experienced trail runners
  • Demo the latest trail gear
  • Enjoy a fun day outdoors

Route Options

5-mile loop (participants looking for extra mileage are welcome to complete the loop twice.)

Experienced trail guides, group leaders, sweepers, and course markings will help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
