Maqlouba Dinner in Support of Om Sleiman Farm

We’re hosting this Maqlouba dinner in solidarity with and in support of our friends at Om Sleiman Farm in Bil’in, Palestine.
Om Sleiman Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture farm established in 2016. For the farm, working the land is a way to stay connected to their land and community.
Om Sleiman Farm is raising $7,000 to fund three scholarships for its 9-week CSA Agroecology Internship. The internship is designed for Palestinians who want to deepen their understanding of agroecology, gain practical farming skills, and explore farming as a long-term livelihood. It also serves as a pathway for future team members to join Om Sleiman Farm and strengthen the growing agroecology movement in Palestine.
Today, military colonial occupation including land confiscation, restricted access to water and resources, and ongoing violence against farmers, has made farming increasingly difficult. As the farming community shrinks, valuable agricultural knowledge is at risk of being lost.
Your contribution from this dinner will support the internship, helping cover accommodation, meals, transportation, training, and a modest stipend for participants.
