Mapping The Sawkill: A Percussion Orchestra with Adriana Magaña
About this Event
Instruments and instruction are provided along with your intuition. Attendees are invited to slow down, listen, interact deeply, and use all senses in collaboration with Sawkill Creek.
This workshop takes place in Sawkill Creek, and you'll be in the water. Please wear water shoes.
"Today and everyday the Sawkill Creek is a living entity, musical collaborator, and conductor." Adriana Magaña
>>> Trail Accessibility: We will be accessing the Sawkill River through the Comeau Property. Restrooms are available and parking is located at trail entrance. The path is relatively flat but there are many thick, exposed tree roots on the ground. This is approximately a 1/2 mile walk, then we slope down to the river bank, which is completely made of smooth river stones.
