Hike among the maples as we learn about the history of tree tapping, the process of creating syrup from sap, and see all the equipment that is used in the maple syruping process. Enjoy a special treat of maple syrup and maple sugar as well. The hike will be on uneven terrain and be a 1.5 mile loop along the Mature Forest Trail at the Swiss Valley Nature Preserve. Registration is not required, but is appreciated.
